To Whom It May Concern,
Subject: Administrative Citation
In response to the administrative citation we received dated June 7th, 2010 for a violation of the city's
water use restriction, we request an administrative hearing or that the penalty be waived for the reason
discussed below.
On June 3rd, 2010 we had a new sprinkler system installed which when reviewing the programming we
had thought was set-up to water at 3am on odd days as our address pennits. Upon arriving home on
the afternoon of June 7th, 2010 we had realized that our system had run again at 3pm. We immediately
went to review our system, realized that it was set to run twice a day on odd days by mistake and
corrected it to only run once a day on odd days.
As a resident of Fannington for twelve years, we are completely aware of the water use policy and
have never intentionally violated the policy.
