REGULAR WATER BOARD MEETING
Monday, September 27, 2010
7:00 PM

1) Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7 :OOpm by Chair Krueger.
2) Approve Agenda: The agenda was approved as presented.
3) Approve Minutes - August 23, 2010: Motion by Krueger to approve the minutes
of August 23,2010 after removing City Engineer Schorzman from "Staff Present";
second by Jensen. APIF, motion passed.
4) Water Use Restriction Citation Appeals
a) City Engineer Schorzman indicated that Steve and Tanya Soler, 5375 203rd
Street provided supporting documents stating contractors were working on
their irrigation system when their citation was issued. Motion by Krueger,
second by Jensen to waive the citation. APIF, motion passed.
5) Continued Business
6) New Business
a) Riverbend Development fees: City Engineer Schorzman informed the Board
that the developer of Riverbend chose to pay the development fees rather than
assess them.
b) Water Use Education/Promotion: Municipal Services Coordinator Larson
reviewed the citations issued and the current level of education and promotion.
The consensus of the Water Board was to continue status quo.
7) Approve Bills - Finance: Motion by Krueger, second by Maguire to approve
bills in the amount of$59,003.14. APIF, motion passed.
8) Open Forum
a) Member Krueger inquired about the City's budget process. Engineer
Schorzman indicated it is moving along.
b) City Engineer Schorzman distributed the most recent well pumpage
information.
c) Member Jensen thanked Public Works Supervisor Bill Weierke for the fine job
he has done for the City for 26-1/2 years and congratulated him on his
upcoming retirement, echoed by Members Krueger and Maguire.
d) Adjourn: Motion by Krueger, second by Maguire to adjourn at 7:32pm.
APIF, motion passed.
