Regular Meeting
October 11, 2011
1. Call to Order
Chair Rotty called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Members Present: Rotty, Bonar, Kuyper, Franceschelli., Vanderbeck.
Members Absent: None
Also Present: Tony Wippler - Assistant City Planner.
2. Approval of Minutes
a) September 13, 2011 Regular Meeting Minutes
MOTION by Kuyper, second by Franceschelli to approve the minutes with a correction
to item #4 changing the word recommended to "approval". APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
3. Public Hearings -
a) Amend Comprehensive Plan from Commercial to Low/Medium Density
Residential and Rezone from B-3 to R-T for the properties located at 104 Oak
Street and 407 1st Street - P.H. Feely and Son Inc.
Assistant Planner Wippler explained Greg Feely has requested rezoning of this
property so that he may sell the vacant lot. MOTION by Vanderbecky second by
Kuyper to close the public hearing. MOTION by Franceschelli second by Vanderbeck
to recommend approval of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Rezoning and
forward this recommendation to the Oct. 17, 2011 Council meeting for consideration.
APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
