MINUTES
REGULAR WATER BOARD MEETING
Monday, November 28, 2011
7:00 PM

1) Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm by Jensen.
2) Approve Agenda: The agenda was approved as presented.
3) Approve Minutes - October 24, 2011: Motion by Jensen, second by Weierke to
approve the minutes of October 24, 2011. APIF, motion passed.
4) Continued Business: None
5) New Business:
a) Water Use Education/Promotion: Various options for water conservation
education and the Outdoor Water Use Policy were discussed. The Water Board
indicated they would like to maintain a level of promotion similar to what they
have done in the past: noting potential reductions in expenses with the City
News and Recreation Guide, decreasing use of traditional advertising, and
increasing use of social media.
6) Approve Bills - Finance: Motion by Weierke, second by Jensen to approve bills
in the amount of$28,725.76. APIF, motion passed.
7) Open Forum:
a) Member Jensen inquired about properties paying the $150 per month penalty
for not having an upgraded meter installed.
b) City Engineer Schorzman distributed a monthly work report from the
designated water employee, Matt Waltman.
c) City Engineer Schorzman distributed the well pumpage report.
d) Adjourn: Motion by Weierke, second by Jensen to adjourn at 7:35. APIF,
motion passed.
