REGULAR WATER BOARD MEETING

1) Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:00PM by Vice President
Jensen..

2) Approve Agenda: City Engineer Schorzman wanted to add to the agenda, Fire
Department representatives in attendance. The agenda was approved as amended.

3) Approve Minutes - May 29, 2012: Motion by Jensen, second by Snobeck to
approve the minutes as presented. APIF, Motion Passed.

4) Continued Business

City Engineer
a. Fire Department Representatives - Chief Tim Pietsch and Assistant Chief
Jim Schimitz addresses the Board and expressed their appreciation of support
of the loan to purchase the fire truck. Chief Pietsch indicated that the truck
may be ready before the end of the year.
b. Water Ordinance Update - Engineer Schorzman informed the members
that the City Council approved the recommended changes.
c. Water Patrol Update - Engineer Schorzman indicated the interviews were
conducted last week and a selection was made to offer the temporary water
patrol position for the 2012 season to Sean Donahue, pending approval by the
board. Motion by Snobeck, second by Jensen to approve the hiring of Sean
Donahue. APIF, Motion Carried.
5) New Business - None
6) Approve Bills - Member Jensen question the mat purchase from Cinta's.
Engineer Schorzman stated he would look into it. Motion by Snobeck second by
Jensen to approve the bills in the amount of$563,145.47. APIF, Motion Passed.
7) Open Forum - Engineer Schorzman informed the Board that the new rods for the
fire hydrants were not working out. The brackets are snapping off.
8) Adjourn: Motion by Jensen, second by Weierke to adjourn at 8:16 pm. APIF,
Motion Carried.
