City Engineer Members Present: Snobeck, Jensen Members Absent: Weierke Staff Present: City Engineer Schorzman, Administrative Assistant Miller. 1) Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:OOPM by Vice Chair Jensen.. 2) Approve Agenda: MOTION by Snobeck, second by Jensen to approve the agenda as presented. APIF, Motion Carried. 3) Approve Minutes September 24, 2012: Motion by Snobeck, second by Jensen to approve the minutes as presented. APIF, Motion Carried. 4) Water Citation Appeals a. Jeremy Stees 19844 Dover Drive Not present, correspondence reviewed Citation stands as issued. b. Julie Zandstra —19903 Dover Drive Not present, correspondence reviewed Citation stands as issued. c. Tom Raiolo —18351 Dunbury Circle Not present, correspondence reviewed Citation stands as issued. d. Nathan Hamilton 4516 196 St W Not present, correspondence reviewed Citation stands as issued. 5) Continued Business None. 6) New Business a) Rust Issue at 816 9 St. Engineer Schorzman talked to the members regarding an ongoing problem of rust at this address. The Board wants to move forward and see what the City can find by cutting out a section of street and removing water to check the connections. City Engineer Schorzman noted that public works would do the work and investigate the issue. 7) Approve Bills Motion Snobeck by Jensen to approve the bills in the amount of $31,651.73 APIF, Motion carried. Water Board Minutes October 22, 2012 Page 2 of 2 Respectfully submitted, Sue Miller Administrative Assistant 8) Open Forum a) Discussion focused on the FAA center and how the water lines haven't been flushed in several years. It was suggested that perhaps on a future city project, they could possibly have their line replaced or at flushed. b) September water use was the largest month for the year. c) As an FYI to the board, Engineer Schorzman indicated that an Ordinance will be going to the City Council in November proposing to bill the owners rather than renters. 9) Adjourn: Motion by Jensen second by Snobeck to adjourn at 7:40 APIF, Motion Carried.
