critical thinking exercises,which do not reflect an official public position.
Council work session outcomes should not be construed by the attending public and/or reporting media as the articulation of a formal City policy
position. Only official Council action normally taken at a regularly scheduled Council meeting should be considered as a formal expression of
the City's position on any given matter.

SUBJECT: City Council Work Session
DATE: May 13, 2013
INTRODUCTION
The City Council requested to have a work session with department heads to make sure we were
all on the same page with the 2014 budget and possible other issues.
DISCUSSION
All of the department heads will be in attendance at the work session on Monday, May 13, 2013.
The City Council will have an opportunity to discuss, along with staff, any goals,targets and
issues related to the 2014 budget and tax levy.
In addition, I have a number of minor items that I will either look for direction on or get wrapped
up as time allows. I will go through these items at the meeting.

N/A.
ACTION REQUESTED
Provide direction to staff on the 2014 budget and tax levy and discuss any other relevant issues.
