Sincerely, CIR Sue Miller Administrative Assistant cc: file September 4, 2013 City Of Farmington Water Board 430 Third Street Farmington, MN 55024 RE: Water Citation —Administrative Hearing Request Our Association received a water citation on August 29 2013. It appears that it was due to our automatic sprinkler system running at 6:57AM on the above mentioned date. The inspector placed the citation in one of our unit owner's mail box when he or she noticed that the lawn was being irrigated on an inappropriate day. We don't dispute that fact. However our Association irrigation system was installed approximately 7 years ago and does not have the ability to automatically irrigate homes with odd houses number one day and even house numbers the next day. Up until recently we have had Zone A with subzone 1 10 operating one day, and Zone B with subzones 11 19 operating the next day. VVe hereby request an Administrative Hearing to obtain a waiver allowing us to continue irrigating our Association lawns, half one day and half the next as we have done for the last 7 years. Please contact me at your earliest convenience and advise if the citation fee will be waived, Respectfully 'i/ i/1,'1 Bob Mey er Dawson Meadows Townhome Owners' Association 19816 Dawson Lane Farmington, MN 55024 612- 860 -8025 Email: boberflever@chart;-_,:r.net The undersigned states: coc1) t 20_ th 2 day of On e r) s 0 C,10Ck A violation of the City's Water Use Restrictions Poiloy was observed at: C0 i r C.LA„k 0.-- Issued by: Notes: ciaa Signature f.j trin straid C tati n Water Use Restricttions PLEASE READ CAREFULLY You have ten (10) business days from the issuance of this notice to remit the penalty set forth below. Sincerely, cc: file r Sue Miller Administrative Assistant September 16, 2013 To Whom it May Concern: We received a "Water Use Restriction" citation on September 11, 2013 for watering our lawn between 12 -6pm. My husband was involved in a offset head on collision between 2 semi tractor trailers and has Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) on September 11, 2013 our lawn service was there and applied chemicals to our lawn. When I arrived home from doing errands, my husband was outside with the sprinklers on. I asked him why did he have them on and he said he wanted to wet the lawn after the chemicals were applied. I reminded him that we can't have the sprinklers on in the afternoon. He did not remember this, he only remembered it was an ODD day and he thought this was OK. He gets easily confused and mixed up about things when I am not at home to help him remember. I hope you will understand this situation and not penalize us. We are unable to attend the Water Board meeting next Monday night because we are taking a Partnership class at Hosanna! which is our church in Lakeville. Thank you, Pamela S.
