1. Approval of Minutes February 19, 1985.
2. Request for Public Hearing by Ronald Royce to convert the property
situated at 609 3rd Street from a duplex to a fourplex. The lot
measures 105' by 170' containing 17,850 square feet. The property
is zoned R -2 and as such can handle a tri-plex structure under
the zoning ordinance. The four plex will require a variance of
3,150 square feet. The Commission would have to find that all
conditions under Section 2 -4 -3 of the ordinance have been met in
order to grant such a request. The Commission should advise
Mr. Royce of their opinion regarding his request in case he decides
to withdraw before a hearing is set.
Establish a public hearing at 7:00 P.M. on April 16, 1985 for a
discussion of the variance if requested by the applicant.
3. Discussion of Chapter 6, General Regulations, of the revised draft
of the Zoning Ordinance.
First Baptist Church is requesting a change in the wording of the Zoning
Ordinance which would allow churches as a Special Exception in the B -1
Highway Business District. They wish to purchase the Black Stallion West,
located at 10 North 8th Street, City of Farmington, Parcel No. 14- 02900 010 -50,
and convert it into a church.
