ADJOURN PUBLIC INFORMATION STATEMENT Council workshops are conducted as an informal work session.All discussions shall be considered fact-finding,hypothetical and unofficial critical thinking exercises,which do not reflect an official public position. Council work session outcomes should not be construed by the attending public and/or reporting media as the articulation of a formal City policy position. McKnight, City Administrator SUBJECT: Wage Study Review DATE: October 28, 2013 INTRODUCTION Earlier this year the City Council authorized Fox Lawson to perform a wage study of all city positions with the exception of police officers. Fox Lawson is now prepared to present the results of their research. DISCUSSION Fox Lawson has conducted a wage study of most City positions over the summer months. The results of this study will be presented to the City Council at your work session on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. BUDGET IMPACT TBD. ACTION REQUESTED After the results of the wage study are presented, ask any questions you may have of the consultant or City staff. No formal action will be taken at the work session.
