REGULAR WATER BOARD MEETING
Monday, October 28, 2013

Members Present: Weierke, Jensen, Snobeck
Members Absent: None
Staff Present: City Engineer Schorzman, Administrative Assistant Miller,
1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Chair Weierke at 7:00 p.m.
2. Approve Agenda MOTION by Snobeck second by Weierke to approve the agenda as presented. APIF,
Motion Carried.
3. Approve Minutes September 23, 2013 MOTION by Weierke, second by Snobeck to approve the
minutes as presented. APIF, Motion Carried.
4. Continued Business
a. Water Tower Cleaning update Engineer Schorzman noted that when the pressure washing of the water
tower began, some of the paint was flaking from the stem on the east side of the tower which required
additional painting.
b. Pump Motor Efficiency Evaluation Engineer Schorzman shared information he gathered from Dakota
Electric and Xcel Energy. Discussion focused on some of the rebate programs available for upgrades to pump
motors. At the November meeting he will provide information regarding evaluation costs.
5. New Business
a. Cancel December Water Board Meeting Motion by Weierke second by Jensen to cancel the December,
2013 Water Board meeting. APIF, Motion Carried.
6. Approve Bills Motion by Weierke second by Snobeck to approve the bill bills as presented in the amount of
$42,827.54. APIF, Motion Carried
7. Open Forum Nothing
8. Adjourn Motion by Jensen second by Snobeck to adjourn at 7:40PM. APTF, Motion Carried.
