REGULAR WATER BOARD MEETING
Monday, June 30, 2014
7:00 PM

Members Present: Weierke, Jensen, Snobeck
Members Absent: None
Staff Present: City Engineer Schorzman, Administrative Assistant Miller, Steve Arndt
Also Present: Howard Glad, Angela Zembrycki (First Service Residential), John Matiska, David Purdy, Wade Vrieze,
Jeff with Hydrant Buddy.
1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Chair Weierke at 7:00 p.m.
2. Approve Agenda — Engineer Schorzman asked to add Item 4C, water citation, to the agenda. MOTION by
Weierke, second by Jensen to approve the agenda as presented. APIF, Motion Carried.
3. Approve Minutes — April 28, 2014 — MOTION by Snobeck, second by Weierke to approve the minutes as
presented. APIF, Motion Carried.
4. Water Citation Appeals
a. 20395 Erickson Path — Jackie Cochnauer — Motion by Weierke second by Jensen to deny the appeal.
APIF. Motion Carried.
b. Charleswood Association — After discussion with the management company and HOA board, a new
plan has been initiated to comply better with the odd /even requirements. A new map was given to
staff and will be passed on to the water patrol. Motion by Weierke second by Jensen to waive the
citation. Voting for: Weierke, Jensen. Voting Against: Snobeck. Motion Carried.
c. 19243 Enchanted Way — Motion by Jensen, second by Weierke to deny the appeal. APIF, Motion
Carried
5. Continued Business
a. Hydrant Buddy Demonstration — Jeff with Hydrant Buddy gave a demonstration of his product to the
board and staff. The Board will discuss further at July meeting.
6. New Business - None
7. Approve Bills — Motion by Weierke second by Snobeck to approve the bills as presented in the amount of
$43,156.89. APIF, Motion Carried
8. Open Forum —
a. Tim Thompson — 816 -7`1' Street — Mr. Thompson indicated he is still having rust issues. Staff will
continue to work with Mr. Thompson on resolving his issue
9. Adjourn — Motion by Weierke second by Jensen to adjourn at 8:40PM. APIF, Motion Carried.
