REGULAR WATER BOARD MEETING
Monday, August 25, 2014

Members Present: Weierke, Jensen, Snobeck
Members Absent: None
Staff Present: City Engineer Schorzman, Administrative Assistant Miller
Also Present: None
1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Chair Weierke at 7:00 p.m.
2. Approve Agenda — MOTION by Weierke, second by Jensen to approve the agenda as presented. APIF,
Motion Carried.
3. Approve Minutes — July 28, 2014 — MOTION by Jensen second by Weierke to approve the minutes as
presented. APIF, Motion Carried.
4. Water Citation Appeals
a. 5358 Upper 183rd St W — Muluworke Edea — Denied
b. 18038 Exeter Court — Kristin Goodrean - Denied
5. Continued Business
a. Approve Quotes — Well House #8 — Motion by Snobeck second by Weierke to accept the quote of
Keys Well Drilling Company. APIF, Motion Carried.
b. Review Water Citations 2013 — 2014 — Engineer Schorzman reviewed with the members a graph of
these 2 years. In addition he provided a recap of 2003 -2013 and the overall trend is downward.
6. New Business - None
7. Approve Bills — Motion by Weierke second by Jensen to approve the bills as presented in the amount of
$8902.86. APIF, Motion Carried
8. Open Forum —
a. Engineer Schorzman shared with the members that the DNR has made a request to access our daily
pumping records. Is this something the Board would be interested in? The consensus was to table this
item and to have staff research which other communities have been asked to participate and what
information the DNR is looking to obtain.
9. Adjourn — Motion by Weierke second by Jensen to adjourn at 7:42 PM. APIF, Motion Carried.
