Regular Meeting
January 13,2015
1. Call to Order
Chair Rotty called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Members Present: Rotty, Rich, Franceschelli, Bjorge, Kuyper
Members Absent: None
Also Present: Tony Wippler—Planning Manager
2. Approval of Minutes
a) December 9, 2014 Regular Meeting Minutes—Motion by Franceschelli second by Rich to
approve the minutes as presented. APIF,Motion Carried.
Chair Rotty opened the public hearings
3. Public Hearings—Review a Planned Unit Development application and rezoning to R-3
PUD—Dawson Meadows - Continued. Planning Manager Wippler noted that this request
encompasses the remaining 24 vacant lots in Dawson Meadows(Mystic Meadows Addition).
The applicant is requesting a PUD due to allow for flexibility for uses(single family dwellings).
He is proposing single family and twin-home uses for this area. Twelve foot separation between
structures is being required. Cantilevers will be allowed to encroach by one foot into the setback
area. Engineering has approved the plans however,the rain gardens must be constructed by
October 1, 2015. The plans show an additional 5 off street parking spaces. The developer has
been working with the HOA on the proposed plans. These structures would be part of the
Dawson Meadows HOA. Motion by Franceschelli second by Bjorge to close the public hearing.
APIF,Motion Carried. Motion by Rich second by Franceschelli to recommend approval of the
resolution and ordinance and forward on to the City Council for their approval. APIF,Motion
Carried.

5. Adjourn
MOTION by Kuyper, second by Franceschelli adjourn at 7:20 PM. APIF, MOTION
CARRIED.
