REGULAR MEETING
MINUTES
November 25,2014
7:00 P.M.
CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS
1. Call to order at 7:00 p.m.
Commission Members Present: Members Franceschelli,Lehto,McMillen,Haley
Commission Members Absent: Member Mohlis
Also Present: Planning Manager Wippler
Also Absent: Consultant Vogel
2. Approval of agenda
Motion by Haley,second by McMillen to approve the agenda. AP1iF,Motion passed.
3. Approval of Minutes
a. September 23,2014 Regular Meeting
b. October 15,2014 Special Meeting
Both sets of minutes will carry over to the next regular meeting for a vote at that time.
4. Public Hearings
Nothing
5. Continued Business
a. Heritage Interpretation Plan
Consultant Vogel had provided the Commission a memorandum outlining the status of the plan.
Consultant Vogel would like to discuss the components of the plan in depth at one of the first meetings in
2015. The Commission was comfortable with the status of the plan.
6. New Business
a. Review HPC Webpage
Planning Manager Wippler went through the HPC webpage with the Commission. Ideas for
enhancement of the webpage include the following:

• Additional links to other historical resources
• List of how to publications for owners of historic properties
• More GIS and graphics as the Commission sees fit
• Adding Consultant Vogel's contact information
• Photograph of the Commission
• Link to City Ordinances
This topic should be kept on future agendas as continued business.
b. 2015 Goals,Objectives and Work plan
The Commission was generally comfortable with keeping the existing goals and objectives. Some
additional ideas for goals and objectives for consideration in 2015 are:
• Hold joint meetings with other commissions throughout the year.
• Halloween Theme event for the Middle Creek Historic Cemetery—something to consider.
The Commission will formally adopt goals and objectives for 2015 at its March 24,2015 regular meeting.

9. Commission Roundtable
a. Arcadia Publisher contacted Commissioner Lehto again. She informed them that a we are looking at
forming a committee and that we would eventually get back to them.
b. Planning Manager Wippler provided the Commission with a 2015 meeting Schedule.

Motion by McMillen,second by Haley,to adjourn at 7:32 p.m.APIF,Motion passed.
