1. Call to order at 7:00 p.m.
Commission Members Present: Members Lehto,McMillen,and Haley
Commission Members Absent Members Franceschelli and Mohlis
Also Present: Planning Manager Wippler
2. Approval of agenda
Motion by Haley,second by Lehto to approve the agenda. APIF,Motion passed.
3. Approval of Minutes
a. November 24,2015 Regular Meeting
Motion by Haley,second by Lehto to table action on the November 24,2015 Regular Meeting minutes to
the March regular meeting. APIF,Motion passed.

5. Continued Business
a. Interpretation Plan Update
Planning Manager Wippler mentioned that the Park and Recreation Commission will be in attendance at
the Commission's March 22nd regular meeting to discuss interpretive signage in City parks and other
public facilities.
b. Update on Downtown Redevelopment Plan
Planning Manager Wippler provided the Commission with an update regarding the progress that has been
made on the Downtown Redevelopment Plan. The first Open House was held on December 15th here at
City Hall. It was well received with approximately 40 individuals that walked through. The second Open
House has been scheduled and will be held on January 30th at the Community EXPO in the Farmington

High School. A preferred concept is currently being refined and will be on display during the second
Open House.

a. Presentation of Certificate of Appreciation to Commission Member Lehto
• Planning Manager Wippler presented Commission Member Lehto with a Certificate of Appreciation for
her years of service with this Commission. Commission Members and staff wished her well in her future
endeavors.
