This work session will allow you time to set your goals for 2017/2018. DISCUSSION The city council will hold a work session/goal setting session on July 7, 2017. This very informal meeting format allows an opportunity for you to have open discussion on topics and come together on your priorities for the next year. I have attached the four priorities that were set after a similar session that was held in 2016. The city council is free to discuss any possible issues as priorities for 2017/2018. I did want to take some time during the meeting to discuss the 2018 budget. This will help city staff as we work on the budget that will be discussed in more detail at your work session on Monday, July 10, 2017. BUDGET IMPACT NA ACTION REQUESTED Share your thoughts at the meeting on what you believe the city's priorities should be for 2017/2018. The purpose of this meeting is to allow the five city councilmembers a chance to discuss potential priorities for the next year with the ultimate goal of coming to a consensus on specific priorities.
