1. lvieeting called to order at 7:00 p.m.
Members Present: Terry Holmes, Ed Gerten, Dean Johnson, Bill Fitch, Charlie Tooker,
Craig R. Schlawin
2. Election of officers:
Motion by Gerten, second by Fitch to nominate Terry Holmes Chairman.
Nominations ceased.
APIF, Motion carried
Motion by Holmes, second by Schlawin to nominate Bill Fitch Vice-Chairman.
Nominations ceased

3. Discussion pertaining to rules of order.
. Minutes taken should be brief and shall be public record.
. This board is a cooperative board created from discussions with the Town Board and
City Council members and shall be a recommending body only. This board will have
no legal binding jurisdiction.
. Meeting locations shall alternate between the Empire Township Town Hall and the
Farmington City Hall.
. Discussions shall be limited to approximately one hour.
. Discussions shall focus around planning agendas and basically one topic per meeting.
. Thursdays were preferred by all members for future meeting dates.
4. Future discussion topics:
. Water/Sewer corridors
. River corridors
. ParklRec Services
. Senior Center
. Land use
. Annexation of pending requests
5. Tom Kaldunski, Farmington -- City Engineer, shall be invited to the next meeting.
