ACCEPTING RESULTS OF THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION
November 7, 2000
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of
Farmington, Minnesota, was held in the Council Chambers of said City on the 8th day of
November 2000 at 7:00 p.m.

seconded the following:
WHEREAS, the position of Mayor and 2 four-year seats on the City Council were being voted
upon; and,
WHEREAS, the City Administrator has hereby certified to the Council the following results of
the municipal election voting:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the results of the municipal election are hereby
accepted and that Gerald Ristow be declared the winner of the contest for mayor; Steve Strachan
and Lacelle Cordes be declared the winners in the contest for councilmembers.
This resolution adopted by recorded vote of the Farmington City Council in open session on the
8th day of November 2000.
