SUBJECT: Board and Commission Interviews
DATE: January 8, 2018
INTRODUCTION
The city council will be interviewing candidates for board and commission seats that expire at the end of
January 2018 or became vacant in 2017.
DISCUSSION
The city council received a separate packet of information on candidates for the open or vacant seats
separately to be reviewed.
After the city council completes the interviews of all candidates,you will have time to discuss which
candidates you would like to appoint to the boards and commissions. Formal action on these appointments
will take place at the January 16, 2018 city council meeting.

ACTION REQUESTED
Interview the candidates for open board and commission positions and provide staff with direction on
appointments for 2018.
