CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
WORK SESSION
FEBRUARY 20, 2018
Mayor Larson called the work session to order at 6:00 p.m.
Roll Call
Present-Larson, Bernhjelm, Craig and Donnelly
Absent-Bartholomay
Others Present-Administrator McKnight,Attorney Jamnik and Engineer Gehler
Agenda
Motion by Bernhjelm, second by Craig to approve the agenda. APIF, motion carried.
Flagstaff Avenue Development
Administrator McKnight reviewed potential development along Flagstaff Avenue and the
settlement agreement between the city and school district related to the building of
Farmington High School in 2006.
The city council was in support of the administrator meeting with the superintendent to
continue to work on the issues related to the settlement agreement.
City Administrator Update
Administrator McKnight updated the city council on discussion occurring about the Dakota
Communications Center and its governance. The DCC Executive Committee and Board of
Directors are looking at possible changes to the organizational structure of the entity. The city
council was in support of these continued discussions.
Adjourn
Motion by Bernhjelm, second by Donnelly to adjourn the meeting at 6:15 p.m. APIF, motion
carried.
