EXPLANATION: The General Services Department is in a space crunch.
We need Council authorization to rent additional space for equipment storage.

MEMO TO: MAYOR AND COUNCIL
SUBJECT: GENERAL SERVICES SPACE NEEDS
DATE: JANUARY 11, 1989
The General Services Department is in dire need of more inside storage space.
The City is currently preparing a Space Needs Study which will identify long
term needs, however, the Department has immediate needs for the winter months.
I am asking Council authorization to seek additional space which can be rented
to fill our immediate needs. If authorized, I will solicit rental fees on
space available in town and present my findings at the next Council meeting.
This additional building rental was not included in the 1989 Budget.
