MEMO TO: MAYOR AND COUNCILMEMBERS
SUBJECT: AMBULANCE SERVICE
DATE: FEBRUARY 14, 1985
As stated in a previous memo, the Administrators and Police Chiefs
of Lakeville, Apple Valley and Farmington have been investigating
ambulance service options for the three cities. The previous three
meetings have centered on the possibility of a jointly operated
ambulance service.
In order for the matter to be openly discussed, it was felt that
a joint meeting between the three City Councils should be held. A
tentative date has been set for Monday, March 11, 1935 at 7:00 P.M.
at Apple Valley City Hall . A staff report with recommendations will
be distributed on March 1, 1985. The report will be placed on the
March 4, 1985 agenda for discussion.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please have them
discussed this Monday evening.
