February 16, 1970
Meeting called to order by Mr. Henneberry, President, with the following
members being present; Mr. Schneider; Chester Brinkman; Glen Moser; Don
Overbee; and Ed Berg both student members.
Minutes of the last meeting were read, a motion was made by Schneider and
seconded by Brinkman that they be approved as read.
The Financial Report of the Village for 1969 was presented by Mr. Henneberry
and discussed. Mr. Henneberry and Mr. Schneider wdre to review the report
concerning the Water Department and report back to the Board of their finddings.
The Secretary reported to the Water Board that they had a balance in the Bank
of $3272.28 as of February 1st.
The Secretary gave a report on the purchase of tzhe adopters for the Fire
Hydrants coverting them from Waterous and Iowa Threads to National Standard
thread. The total cost of tie #urdhaee being $1560.00 with caps, and not in-
cluding the chain, this being for 100 hydrants caps and adopters included.
Upon advice of the Mayer , Mr. Henneberry tendered his resignation as a Water
Board member, in order to prevent the conflit of interest problem, that has
arisen. Tlye Council is to replace Mr. Henneberry with another appoitment to
the Board, they in turn ask for suggestions.
Motion made by Mr. Henneberry and sconded by Mr. Sbhneider thatthe Water Board
adjorun.
