October 2, 1970
Water Board meeting called to order by the President Robert Schneider, with
the following members present: Chester Brinkman; Rdmrt Shirley; F.J. Benneborry
and the Secretary Glen E. Moser;
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read. Motion by
Shirley s000ndbd by Brinkman.
Addiscussion was ensued in regard to the charges being made to customer whether
the service is stubbed in or not. Mr. Pat Akin had complained of the charges to th|
Water Board and the Village Administrator claiming it wasn' t available.
A motion was made by Brinkman that the Nqtor Board approve and recommend the
memo on Municipals Services submitted to the council, existing policies that
are not in writing be submitted later to the oounoil. This motion was seconded
by Shirley.
A letter from More Construction Co. was read in regard to the bent curb boxes
in the Henderson Addition project. The Board is to recieve $200°00 from the
$1000.00 that had been withheld in escrow by the Village. This was in agreement
with the Board.
Motion was made by Brinkman that the Secretary order the following tools for
use on the water lingo; #904 in 2" and 4" and also a hand pump to pump the
hydrants dry when they don 't drain back. This was seconded by 'Shirley.
