Motion was made by Shirley seconded by Brinkman that the Secretary follow up on the violation on the Kuchera propterty. He had talked to the plumber and asked him to replace the presentmeter to a Badger meter which is the policy of the Water Board. Secretary read a letter in regard to the Buck property stub-in, which has been guarranteedby the Thorp Loan Company which is the older of the transaction. Thorp Loan guarranteed the amount of $285.00 for the stub-in service, as the work actually started in 1970. Motion was made by Brinkman and seconded Uy Shirley that ww accept this agreement. Discussion was ensued by the Board in regard to the breaking in of the door at Well House for wells nos. 1 and 2. Motion was made by Brinkman and seconded by Shirley that we have Ray Briesach er install a new lock on said door. Mr. Brinkman made a mtion that the present officers stand as is: Robert Schneider, President, Robert Shirley Vice-President and Mr. Brinkman member at large. Motion was made by Shirley that the Board be will to spend approx- imately 3,000.00 toward the purchase of a backhoe. We would allow the City to credit our usage toward the amount of money that the Water Board had given the Village toward the purchase price. This motoin was seconded by Brinkman. II Salaries were discussed by the Board with the following results. The Secretary salary to be raised to $125.00 per month. The re- mainder of the salaries to remain the same, except Mr. Henneberry would be allowed mileage this bill is to be presented annually f'o1! payment. The Board also advised the Secretary that we should use the Vil&age General Services as much as possible, in order to curtail the operating expenses. The Board also decided to send one of the salaried men from the General Services Department to Operaters school for a Water Operaters License, then W. Br esacher is to help train the individual for thirty days, termaiting Mr. Briesacher's job effective June 1st 1971.
