March 8, 1971
Meeting walled to order by the President Mr. Schn3eider, with
the followikg being present: Brinkman, Moser,Shirley, Henneberry:
also MA4.and Mrs. J.P. Sauber, Tom Jensen, council members Hanson,
Boyd, Gerten, Brosseth and the Mayor Kleinsasser.
IIThe minutes of the lazt meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Haaabberry gave a report to the Council members present
as to the use of Chloride and Flouride. He also reported that
the flow meter on the no. 3 well was not functioning properly.
Secretary reported that the Board had a "CD" in the amount of $5000.00
due in the month of March. Motion was made by Shirley that we renew
the present CD in the amount of $8,000.00, and purchase another one
for 3 months in the amount of $3,000.00.
The Secretary reported to the Board that he had sent letters to the
Mayor in regard to a letter suggesting that Mr. Schneider be paid
additional money, as he was getting more involved and requiring more
work and receiving more complaints, they suggested that he receive
the amount of $25.00 per month instead of the current $5.00 per vonthl
A discussion was ensued in regard to the Water Bard giving the Village
$3,000.00 toward the purchase of a backhoe, to be used Jointely by
the General Sertice Dept and the Water Department. Meeting closed
informally, with the next meeting to be held March 15th at 8:00 pm
at whcih time the Board would decide on the $3,900.00 for the backhoe.
