Meeting called to order by the President Robert Schneider, with the
following members present: Robert Shirley, Chester Brinkman and the
Secretary Glen Moser.
After contacting 8 plumbers in the aseathe following Stub-in prices
were established for the long hook-up theUcost to pay the plumber by
the Water Board is $434.00 and the short hook-vp to be $317.40. The
above prices are to include: all fixtures are to be of Mueller trade
name thru the curb-box, and only type "K" cooper, water and street permits
sodding 100% compaction.
The customer is to pay the Village Hall when a permit is requested the
sum of $450.00.
Motion made by Shirley seconded by Brinkman that the qec. renew C.D.
#13380 fpr the existing amount.
After a discussion the Sec. was orderedb by the Water Board to order
5 more hyrdrants to replace the deffectte ones.
Motion was made by Brinkman that the Water Board install 10 hydrants
in the city to replace old ones, that didnMt drain back and could
freeze up it the winter. The Secretary to ask for quotes, motion was
seconded by Shirley. The used material to be retained by the City.
Secretary was asked by the Board to have Mr. Wm Hince to pick up the
tappingmachine, and to retain it in his possecion as the General Ser-ice
Department will be doing the tapping, and will bill the Water Dep't for
the time involved.
