JUNE 20 , 1977
The meeting was called to order by President Shirley at 7 : 30
P.M. in the administration office .
Present : President Shirley, Brinkman, Mohlis and Secretary
Henneberry
Absent : None
Motion by Shirley, second by Brinkman to approve the minutes
of the last meeting as corrected. AIF-motion carried.
The secretary presented the following cash flow report:
Balance of cash 5/31/77 $ 9 ,473 . 87
Receipts + 1 , 096 . 72
Disbursements-checks 900-908 - 6 ,389 . 84
Balance of cash 6/20/77 4 ,180 . 75
Investments - C .D. ' s E savings $30 ,000 . 00
Shirley reported that school district 192 had purchased some
temporary buildings at the middle school sights . He also
reported that a water meter would be installed in the basement
of the band room to meter the water used in the temporary
buildings .
Various methods of metering irrigation water at the high school
grounds were discussed. Shirley offered to contact the school
and William Hince about the feasebility of a hydrant meter.
Motion by Shirley, second by Brinkman to cut off the ladder at
#4 tower before 9/1/77 to no less than 12 feet from the ground,
to prevent vandals from climbing the tower. AIF-motion carried.
Brinkman and Henneberry reported on the clean water act meeting
they attended May 31 , 1977 , at Sambos at Cottage Grove .
There were representatives from seven cities , from Dakota and
Washington counties . The purpose of the meeting was to hear
Healey Laboratories Inc. , 2301 Como Ave . , St . Paul , proposition
on testing samples .
The group decided to start the service on July 12 , 1977 , and
deliver samples on each succeeding second and fourth Tuesday
of the month. Price not to exceed $2 . 65 per sample.
Motion by Brinkman, second by Shirley to contract with Healey
Laboratories Inc. to test our water. AIF-motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 9 : 00 P.M.
