OCTOBER 17 , 1977
Meeting was called to order by President Shirley at 7 : 30 P.M.
in the Administration office.
Present : President Shirley, Brinkman, Mohlis , and Secretary
Henneberry
Absent : None
Minutes of August 15 , 1977 were read. Motion by Brinkman,
second by Mohlis to approve them as read. AIF-motion carried.
President Shirley instructed the Secretary to note in these
minutes that the regular meeting for September, 1977 , was not
held, due to lack of quorum. It is so noted.
The proposed microwave tower mounted on the water tank on highway
31, requested by Dakota Electric was discussed. Mr. Ford informed
the board that the City Council had no objection if Dakota
Electric got clearance from the FAA and FCC. Mr. Shirley
suggested we wait until we hear from them. Preliminary approval
had been given by the Water Department.
Mr. Shirley asked the Secretary to write a job description showing
what he does and how much time is spent on each duty.
Smelly water was discussed. All agreed the only remedy was
flushing.
