February 27 , 1978
Meeting was called to order by President Shirley at 7 : 30 P.M.
in the Administration office.
Present : President Shirley, Mohlis , Jueneman and Secretary
Henneberry
Absent : None
Motion by Shirley, second by Mohlis to approve minutes of
January 23 , 1978 . APIF. Motion carried.
The Financial report for 12-31-77 was read. Balance of $28 ,000 . 00 .
A notation indicated that $2 ,422 . 00 , Senior Citizen refund and
$5,000 . 00 , overhead charge were included. Motion by Mohlis ,
second by Jueneman to accept. APIF, motion carried.
The McCarthy Well Companys proposal was discussed. It was decided
to get an opinion from the new City Engineer when he comes .
Water consumption was discussed. The Secretary was instructed
to bring data to the next meeting .
Water service for freezing and leaks were discussed. Rosemount
thawing equipment was discussed. Decided further investigation
was needed.
Motion by Shirley, seconded by Mohlis to send Mr. Bauer to water
operators school, April 18th and 19th, 1978 and pay the $30 . 00
fee . Also to recommend to the Council to have another water
works operator certified. APIF, motion carried.
Meeting was adjourned at 8: 30 P.M.
