MINUTES
WATER BOARD
AUGUST 28 , 1978
The meeting was called to order by President Shirley at 7 : 30 P.M.
in the Administrators office.
Present : President Shirley, Mohlis , Juenemann
Absent : None
Motion by Shirley, second by Mohlis to approve the minutes of June
26, 1978 meeting as corrected. APIF - motion carried.
It was noted that the meeting of 7/18/78 was cancelled.
Motion by Juenemann, second by Mohlis to approve the various bills
presented totaling $225. 67 . APIF - motion carried.
Motion by Mohlis , second by Juenemann to renew the two $5,000
certificates of deposit at the First National Bank and to purchase
a $10 ,000 certificate of deposit at First Federal Savings with
funds from the checking account. APIF - motion carried.
Several citizens met with the board to discuss what progress has
been made in identifying and correcting rusty water problems .
Landscaping of well house number 3 was discussed.
It was agreed that the entire water delivery system should be flushed
at least twice before winter. President Shirley will request action
in this matter from general services .
