WATER BOARD
SPECIAL
APRIL 4, 1979
1. A special meeting was held at 7 : 30 P.M. in the Administrator 's
office. The regular meeting scheduled for March 26, 1979, was
cancelled due to lack of a quorum.
Present : President Shirley, members Juenemann
Absent : Mohlis
2 . Motion by Shirley, second by Juenemann to loan the City
of Farmington $13, 964.00 for the purchase of a Tractor/Loader/
Backhoe in return for an unsecured note, which allows repayment
of the loan to the Water Board in three years. APIF, Motion
Carried. Board Member Mohlis indicated approval of this action
during prior communication with the Board.
3. Motion by Juenemann, second by Shirley to cash certificates
of Deposit no. 21500 & 21501 on March 10, 1979, totaling
$10, 000 for deposit in the Water Board' s checking account .
APIF, Motion carried.
4. The Board reviewed a letter from Engineer Rosene dated March
14, 1979, discussing past and future usage of the four wells.
Rosene recommended increased usage of wells one (1) two (2) and
three (3) . The Board concurs with the recommendation.
5. Motion by Juenemann, second by Shirley to approve and order
payment of the various bills presented to the Board totaling
$2439. 64. APIF, motion carried.
6. Through an oversight , the School District 192 was not billed
for irrigation water used for the years 1977 and 1978. The
Board recommends billing the School District $1500.00 for 1977.
For 1978, the Board recommends the School District be billed
$400. 00 for irrigation of the football field, plus the amount
computed from the meter for irrigation of the high school grounds.
7. Motion made and seconded to adjourn.
