WATER BOARD
REGULAR
MAY 29, 1979
1. A regular meeting of the Farmington Water Board was called
to order by President Shirley at 7 : 30 P.M. in the Administrators
office.
Present : Shirley, Mohlis, Juenemann
Absent : None
2 . Motion by Shirley, second by Juenemann to approve the minutes
of the April 23 , 1979 meeting. APIF, motion carried.
3 . The Board then reviewed the preliminary plat for Westview
Acres, Third Addition. No action was taken since the plat drawing
contained no utilities information.
4. Motion by Shirley, second by Mohlis to approve payment of the
various bills totaling $1,926. 23 presented to the Board. APIF,
motion carried. An additional bill in the amount of $96.04 from
Sauber Plumbing and Heating was denied approval, since the Board
was unable to discern the purpose for the materials described on
the bill.
5. The Board expressed some reservation regarding the $810.00
insurance bill , in that past practice considered the Water Board' s
share of the City ' s insurance to be included in the $5,000.00
Annual overhead charge. Motion by Shirley, second by Juenemann to
approve payment of $810.00 to the General Fund for insurance pur-
poses. APIF, motion carried. The Board then expressed interest
in receiving a detailed list of the items covered in the annual
overhead charge.
6 . Mohlis advised the Board that he will be receiving an estimate
on land scaping costs for wellhouse #4.
7. The Board discussed the quotation in the amount of $1,735.00
from J. P. Sauber for roof repair of pump house #1. After a
physical inspection of the pump house, the Board decided to defer
action on this item.
8. Motion made and seconded to adjourn.
