MINUTES
WATER BOARD
REGULAR
NOVEMBER 26 , 1979
1. The meeting was called to order by the chairman in the Administrator ' s
office at 7 : 30 P.M.
Present : Chairman Shirley, Members Juenemann and Mohlis
Absent : none
2 . Motion by Mohlis, second by Juenemann to approve the bills
presented and authorize payment of same totaling $4,421 . 06 . APIF,
motion carried.
3. The Board discussed in general the ejection of stones from a
hydrant near the terminus of the 18 inch main during the last flushing.
The Board feels these stones are debris remaining from the construction
of the 18 inch main. Discussion then centered on the merits of
installing a valve at the end of the main at County Road 31 and Hickory,
which would permit a thorough flushing of the main .
4 . Motion by Shirley, second by Mohlis to approve the minutes of the
October and September regular meeting. APIF, motion carried .
5. Due to the Christmas Holiday , the next regular Water Board meeting
will be held on December 26, 1979 at 6 : 30 P .M.
6. The Board noted that General Services completed the November
flushing of all the hydrants.
