WATER BOARD
REGULAR
JANUARY 26 , 1981
1 . The meeting was called to order by President Shirley at 7 : 30 P.M.
in City Hall .
Present : President Shirley, Member Juenemann
Absetn : Member Mohlis

2 . The minutes for the December 1980 Water Board Meeting should be
changed to indicate a quotation of $13 , 825 from the Layne Minnesota
Company for reapir of Well No . 4 .
3 . Motion by Juenemann, second by Shirley to authorize payment of
the various bills presented to the Board totaling $4 , 039 . 77 . APIF,
motion carried.
4 . The Board reviewed a memo from General Services Superintendent
Hince listing the estimated time table for repair of Well Nd. 4 .
Estimated completion date is February 23, 1981 .
5 . The Board discussed various alternatives for payment of the
anticipated bill for repair of Well No . 4, the options included early
repayment of the Tractor-Loader-Backhoe loan from the City, use of
funds in passbook account and checkbook account. The board ruled
out redeeming the six month certificates prior to their maturity.
