HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-26-1981 157 MINUTES WATER BOARD REGULAR AUGUST 26, 1981 1. The meeting was opened by Board member Juenemann at 7:00 P.M. III in City Hall . Present: Juenemann & Bohm Absent: Shirley Also Present: Pat Akin The meeting was rescheduled to this date due to lack of quorum on August 24, 1981. 2. Former Mayor Pat Akin appeared before the Board inquiring to the availability of replacement cartridges for the water filters installed at the six test locations in the City. He was advised that the Board decided to continue the test for another year and that cartridges could be obtained from General Services Superintendent Bill Hince. Mr. Akin also expressed his objection to the current proposal of down-sizing the 12" water line proposed for the Riverside Addition. 3. Motion by Juenemann, second by Bohm to authorize payment of the various bills presented to the Board totaling $2,256.45. APIF, motion carried. 4. Motion by Juenemann, second by Bohm to renew the money market certificates for another six months at First National Bank and First Federal Savings. APIF, motion carried. 5.
