WATER BOARD
REGULAR
APRIL 5, 1982
1. The regular Water Board meeting scheduled for February 22, 1982 was
cancelled due to a lack of quorum. The regular Water Board meeting scheduled
for March 22, 1982 was postponed until April 5, 1982.
2. The meeting was called to order by President Shirley at 7:30 P.M.
in City Hall with all members present.
3. Motion by Juenemann, second by Bohm to authorize payment of all bills
presented to the Board since the January meeting totaling $6,088.30.
APIF, motion carried.
4. The Board noted that the water fund account was not credited with any
water sales received during the first quarter 1982.
5. The Board was advised of a complaint by Mrs. Brosseth about the
penalty included in her current bill for City services. The alleges that
the penalty is not in order since she did not receive the previous bill .
This matter will be brought to the attention of the City Administrator.
6. Member Juenemann reported the two money market certificates were
renewed for six months as follows:
First Federal S & L #1057003171, $13,868.95 @ 12.314%
First National Bank #5640, $18,270.24 @ 13.21%
7. Motion by Shirley, second by Bohm to approve the renewal of the Water
Board investments and to authorize the Secretary to renew all certificates
when they expire in the absence of any contrary instruction from the
Water Board. APIF, motion carried.
8. The Board proposes the attendance of the General Services Superintendent
at the next Water Board meeting on April 26, 1982 to discuss the recom-
mendation on the most recent Minnesota Health Department inspection report,
and in particular, to discuss the accretion of a chlorine storage facility
at Well House #2.
9. The Board proposes to meet at 9:00 A.M. on April 24, 1982 for the
purpose of a general familiarization and inspection tour of all pump
houses.
