WATER BOARD
REGULAR
OCTOBER 10, 1983
1. The meeting was called to order by President Shirley at 7:30 P.M. in City Hall .
This meeting was postponed from September 26, 1983.
Present: President Shirley, Members Juenemann and Bohm.
Absent: None.
2. President Shirley reported that some cases of smelly water were turning up. The
Board agreed that the fall flushing should neutralize these complaints.
3. Motion by Juenemann, second by Bohm to pay the various bills presented to the
Board totaling $3,479.72. APIF, motion carried.
4. Juenemann reported that the certificate at United Financial was renewed in the
amount of $16,111.62 at 9.69%. The certificate at First National Bank was renewed
in the amount of $10,945.12 also at 9.69%.
5. The Board took note that DeBates Decorating completed painting well houses
numbers 1 and 3.
6. Landscaping of well number 4 site was discussed. Shirley will contact the City
Engineer to arrange for the site to be surveyed in order to define the limits of the
plot.
7. Cash flow:
Balance 8/29/83 $ 5,720.12
Receipts 2,500.00
Disbursements 3,479.72
Balance 10/10/83 4,740.40
8. The Board took note that fund transfers from the City account to the Water Board
account are substantially less then the estimated revenue.
