JULY 23, 1984
1. The meeting was called to order by President Shirley at 7:30 P.M.
in City Hall .
Present: Shirley, Juenemann
Absent: Bohm
Also Present: City Administrator Thompson
2. The Board reopened a discussion from its previous meeting directed
towards installation of a 12 inch main along the north side of Highway 50, 11/
west of County Road 31. The Board concluded that the 12 inch main installa-
tion is not financially feasible at this time due to assessment restrictions.
Accordingly then, a motion was offered by Juenemann, with a second by Shirley
allowing Northern Natural Gas to connect to City water supply by stubbing
directly into the main along Highway 31. APIF, motion carried.
3. Motion by Shirley, second by Juenemann to approve payment of all bills for
a total of $3,910.54. APIF, motion carried.
4. The Board discussed water meters in general terms. Although no commitment
to water meter installation is foreseen at this time, the Board recommends that
the City Council adopt an ordinance requiring the installation of meter yokes
in all new residential construction.
5. The monthly financial statement was not received.
6. President Shirley signed an inter-fund loan agreement with the City providing
for a three year loan to the City of $9,645.00 at 8.50%.
Respectfully submitted,
