WA.ER BOARD
REGULAR
OCTOBER 22, 1984
1. The meeting was called to order by President Shirley at 7:30 P.M.
in City Hall.
Present: Shirley, Juenanann
Absent: Bohm
2. Motion by Shirley, second by Juenanann to approve the minutes of the
September 24, 1984 meeting. APIF, motion carried.
3. Motion by Juenanann, second by Shirley to pay, all bills presented to
the Board totalling $5,673.94. APIF, motion carried.
4. Juenanann reported that a one-year certificate was purchased at First
National Bank in the amount of $20,000 at an interest rate of 10.6%. Another
certificate was renewed in the a aunt of $23,416.09 at the same interest rate.
5. Discussion of water rates was deferred until the Board receives justifi-
cation for any change to the present rate.
6. President Shirley reported that he contacted City Park Director Bell, who
will include the Board's recommendations for landscaping Well No. 4 along
with his landscaping requirements when negotiating for the services of either
the University of Minnesota or DCAVTI.
