MINUTES
WATER BOARD
REGULAR
FEBRUARY 26, 1985
1. The meeting was rescheduled from February 25, 1985. The meeting was
called to order at 7:30 P.M. in City Hall.
Present: Bohm, Juenemann.
Absent: Shirley.
2. Bohm described a solvent called "Graffiti Remover" that is purported
to have the ability to remove graffiti without disturbing the base paint.
The Board authorized Bohm to engage a workman to remove some of the most
objectionable graffiti from the water tank, using the "Graffiti Remover".
3. Juenemann related that the City requested again that the Water Fund
checking account be combined with the City account, and that the Water
Fund investments be maintained by the City. These requests were generated
as a result of a recommendation from the City Auditor. No action was taken
in the absence of the Water Board President.
4. The Board noted that the remaining revenue from 1984 was transferred
to the water fund, but 1985 receipts to date have been withheld. Motion
by Juenemann, second by Bohm to authorize payment of all bills totalling
$3,189.23. APIF, motion carried.
5. The Board reviewed a proposed water tank inspection agreement from
the Elevated Tank Service Company.
Respectfully submitted,
Robert Juenemann
