WATER BOARD
REGULAR
AUGUST 25, 1986
1. The meeting was called to order by President Shirley at 7:30 P.M. in
City Hall.
Present: Shirley, Bohm, Juenemann.
Absent: None.
Also Present: Thomas Kaldunski, City Engineer.
2. City Engineer Kaldunski advised the Board that the water tank was being
evacuated in order to permit inspection and removal of residue from the tank
on August 27, 1986. He further stated that specifications for painting and
refurbishing the tank will be prepared based on the results of the inspection.
3. The Board was informed that the low bidder withdrew from the project to
extend the water main west along Highway 50. Kaldunski said the project likely
will be rebid. The looping of the main as part of the Terra project should
be complete this week. Engineer Kaldunski departed from the meeting at this
point.
4. The monthly accumulation of bills was reviewed. Motion by Juenemann,
second by Bohm to authorize payment of all bills presented, totalling
$6,876.18. APIF, motion carried.
5. President Shirley informed the Board that Finance Director Henneke will
be present at the next regular meeting.
