MINUTES
WATER BOARD
REGULAR
MARCH 30, 1987
1. This meeting was deferred from March 23, 1987 when the Board was
unable to achieve a quorum.
2. The meeting was opened by President Shirley at 7:30 P.M. in City Hall.
Present: Shirley, Juenemann.
Absent: Bohm.
Also Present: City Engineer Kaldunski.
3. Engineer Kaldunski advised the Board that he had prepared specifications
for painting the exterior of the water tank. The specs allowed for surface
preparation on an "as needed" basis prior to painting the tank, plus applying
the name "Farmington" on the tank. Motion by Juenemann, second by Shirley
to accept the specifications for painting the tank and to proceed with obtaining
bids for the project. APIF, motion carried. Engineer Kaldunski advised that
the bids will be received and be ready for review by the next Water Board
meeting.
4. The Board next discussed the preparation of a comprehensive water plan
for the City with Engineer Kaldunski. The Board was advised that previous
plans to complete this project using City staff personnel are thwarted
somewhat by the staff having insufficient time to do the job in the near
future. The Board will discuss this item further when the entire membership
is present.
5. The Board set the date for the next regular meeting to occur on Tuesday,
April 28, 1987.
6. No monthly financial report or bills were supplied to the Board. Motion
by Shirley, second by Juenemann to authorize President Shirley to contact the
City Finance Department and approve payment of all ordinary bills charged
to the Water Board. APIF, motion carried.
Respectfully submitted,
Robert Juenemann
Acting Secretary
