WATER BOARD
REGULAR
JULY 28, 1987
1. The June meeting of the Water Board was cancelled due to the lack of
quorum in two different attempts to convene.
2. The July meeting was opened by President Shirley at 7:30 P.M. in City Hall.
Present: Shirley, Juenemann.
Absent: Bohm.
3. The Board tentatively selected the third Tuesday of each month as meeting
night for the Water Board, pending approval of both Board member Bohm and the
City Administrator. Juenemann announced that he will be out of town and unable
to attend the August meeting.
4. Further discussion of the proposed comprehensive water distribution plan
was deferred, once again, until the entire Board is present.
5. Motion by Shirley, second by Juenemann to authorize final payment to the
painting contractor for completion of the job including $685 additional for
minor repairs and $200 for moving the name to a more visible location. APIF,
motion carried.
6. The Board reviewed a letter from Mayor Akin dated June 5, 1987 in regard
to low water pressure temporarily experienced in some areas of the City on
June 4th.
7. Motion by Juenemann, second by Shirley to authorize payment of the bills
as presented to the Water Board totalling $4,222.65. APIF, motion carried.
