WATER BOARD
REGULAR
SEPTEMBER 18, 1990
1. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M.
Members Present: Shirley, Sauber, Wier.
Members Absent: None.
Also Present: Public Works Director Thomas Kaldunski.
2. The members reviewed the bills presented. A question about a bill for 101 Spruce
Street was raised. There was no explanation given for the inaccurate bill at that
location. Bill, from Underground Piercing, included the bill which was to be paid by
Sauber Plumbing and Heating. The amount was reduced and allowed by amount due from
Saubers.
3. MOTION to pay bills, excluding $150.00 to be paid by Sauber Plumbing and Heating,
totalling $15,766.27. MOTION CARRIED.
4. Public Works Director Kaldunski asked for a discussion by the Board concerning
its intent in regard to the installation of water meters. A discussion followed at
which time it was decided that a decision would be made at the next regular Water
Board meeting.
5. There was concern raised regarding the need to develop some means of gathering
information about persons requesting hardship consideration on delinquent utility
bills. The Board delegated Member Wier to speak with the Finance Director regarding
this matter.
6. MOTION was made to adjourn. MOTION CARRIED.
