WATER BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
NOVEMBER 20, 1990
1. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Shirley.
2. The Board discussed a memo from Finance Director Henneke concerning the fee
for turning water on for Mr. Vandenmeerendock. It was decided that if a fee was
charged for turn off, that a fee of $35.00 should be charged, otherwise the full
policy fee should be made.
3. It was moved, seconded and carried to pay bills in the amount of $3,834.19.
4. Metering was discussed. There was a concern that raising the lowest basic
amount for service be made. This to be a basic meter charge. There was also
consideration given to raising the rate per 1000 gallons to discourage excess usage.
5. A storage facility was also discussed. Also a pump system to low pressure
areas was discussed. Possible problems with this were also discussed.
6. There was discussion of the Revenue and Expenditure comparisons. Where is
the excess expenditure made on merchandise for resale? This should be sold and
paid back to the Water Board. Where is the difference? Check with Mr. Henneke.
7. The meeting adjourned.
