MINUTES
WATER BOARD
REGULAR
OCTOBER 28, 1991
1. The meeting was called to order by Acting Chair Sauber.
Members Present: Sauber, Wier.
Members Absent: Shirley.
Also Present: City Engineer Kaldunski.
2. MOTION by Wier, second by Sauber to approve the minutes of the September 9,
1991 and September 23, 1991 meetings. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
3. Engineer Kaldunski stated that he would be unable to attend the November meeting
of the Water Board. It was duly noted.
4. A discussion was held regarding the sand problems with Well No. 1. An estimate
was presented by Traut Well Company to do the work necessary to correct the problem.
MOTION by Sauber, second by Wier to hire Traut Well Company to perform the work
on Well No. 1 according to the estimate presented at a cost of $2,690.00. APIF,
MOTION CARRIED.
5. Costs for various 1991 projects were discussed. No action was required.
6. The Board members discussed the water main break on CSAH 31. No action was
required.
7. There was a discussion of the Ground Water Planning Task Force. No action
was required.
8. MOTION by Sauber, second by Wier to approve the payment of the bills in the
amount of $9,548.29. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
9. It was the consensus of the members present to adjourn.
