MINUTES
WATER BOARD
REGULAR
NOVEMBER 25, 1991
1. The meeting was called to order by Member Sauber.
Members Present: Sauber, Wier.
Members Absent: Shirley (Arrived later in the meeting.)
2. MOTION by Wier, second by Sauber to approve the minutes of the October 28,
1991 regular meeting. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
3. The Board noted the information that was received regarding the inspection
of the reservoir. It was felt that if the inspection takes place, some members
of the Board should be present at the time. A tentative date was set for some
time in the Spring.
4. The report on the test pumping of Well No. 1 and the results of the pumping
was received. No action was needed.
5. The hydrant flushing report was received. No action was needed.
6. MOTION by Wier, second by Shirley to approve payment of the various expenditures
involved with the 1991 Summer projects. It was determined that payments be made
from:
a. Proceeds from Middle School,
b. Spruce Street Improvements,
c. Water Maintenance Fund,
d. Cash Balance.
The payments to be made from these funds in that order. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
7. MOTION by Sauber, second by Wier to approve monthly bills in the amount of
$9,274.56. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
8. MOTION by Sauber, second by Wier to require that anyone taking water from
hydrants must have a receipt from the City to show water has been paid for at
the current rates. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
9. MOTION by Sauber, second by Wier to adjourn. APIF, MOTION CARRIED.
