COUNCIL MEETING
SPECIAL
MAY 16, 1974
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 7:30 P.M.
Present: Mayor Daily, Trustees Akin, Graphenteen, McElmury
Absent: Trustee Kuchera
Also Present: Attorney Gorgos
No action was taken at this time in regard to a complaint concerning stock running
at large from the property of Dale and Beverly Neilan, Farmington.
The matter of a change order to the contract for the addition of the City Garage
to include the existing garage roof repair was deferred.
Motion by Daily, second by McElmury that the council adopt resolution #R52-74
approving the plans of the Minnesota Highway Department for Te turn lanes an
frontage road revisions for T.H. 3 with the modification of closing Spruce St.
and opening Walnut Street. APIF, motion carried.
The Administrator was requested to look into the matter of cleaning Elm Street
and, if necessary, coordinating with the Minnesota Highway Department.
The council took under advisement the recommendation of the Park and Recreation
Commission regarding the sale of certain city owned land as per their minutes
dated 5/16/74.
The council was informed that Mr. Gene Harris was not prepared to submit his plat
for approval. The Public Hearing was continued to 7:30 P.M. , May 20, 1974.
Motion made and carried to adjourn at 9:50 P.M.
